Julio Cesar Franco

A professional Futsal/Soccer player from Brazil, Julio assists in player development throughout the club and is available for special goalkeeper training clinics.

Julio started playing in the Flamengo Soccer School at the age of 9. He captured the Rio de Janeiro State Championship Titles at the ages of 14, 15, 16, 17 and Juniors.

In the Juniors category (U-18) Julio was also crowned the National Champion.

As a professional, Julio played for Vasco de Gama Dal Ponte where he was runner-up to in the National Champions. He was awarded the Championship of the Brazilian Southeast Cup and three times crowned as Champion of the Rio Grande do Sul Cup. Julio is the most accomplished futsal goalkeeper living in the United States today.

While playing professional soccer & futsal in Brazil, Julio was also in charge of the premier U-10 through U-18 player development program and had the opportunity to work with the best Futsal coaches in Brazil.
